I haven’t done a lot or research on wilderness loos, but I had an idea. What was wanted was a loo that would store away easily in the Vanaroo. Here is what I came up with; using <$10 of 1 inch schedule 40 PVC pipe and fittings, and a seat. It stores in a Trader Joe’s tote bag.

Plastic grocery bag clipped to metal ring holds contents

The metal ring is ~3/4” below the seat. The ring is made with 1/8” steel wire. I made 4 clips to hold it. The bag stretches over the ring and is secured with paper clips. A little bit of grease inside the joints means easy twisting and removal of the pieces. What one does with the grocery bag, well……
